(Francisco Kjolseth | The Salt Lake Tribune) As part of Native American Day on the Hill, women pay tribute and try to bring attention to the epidemic of missing and murdered women in Indian country by performing a Jingle Dance in the Capitol rotunda on Feb. 4. A legislative committee gave its stamp of approval Monday to a draft bill that seeks to streamline the federal process for changing geographic names in Utah that contain language derogatory to American Indians.
