SLC released a beefed-up public safety plan last month. Here’s how the city says it is doing.

(Salt Lake City) Salt Lake City police officers are involved in stepped-up patrols under a new public safety plan. Since Jan. 12, the city has reported more than 460 jail bookings and significant seizures of illegal drugs and weapons in hot spots such as downtown, the Ballpark neighborhood and along the Jordan River.
