An 18-year-old died Saturday after being shot during a confrontation at a park in West Valley City.
The shooting happened around 6 p.m., after two groups of people met at Kings Pointe Park, 1330 W. Rothchild Drive.
The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition and later died there. Police haven’t released his name. No one has been arrested.
